1. Open DSM Package Center and install Web Station and a supported PHP package, such as PHP 7.3. [1]
2. Place your website files in the website document root. Ensure the default http group has sufficient permissions to access it. [1]
3. In Web Station, create a web service or Virtual Host for the site and select the required PHP profile and back-end server. Web Station supports multiple websites and per-site HTTP/HTTPS settings. [2][5]
4. Configure your router’s port forwarding for the ports used by the web service. Also configure DSM firewall rules to protect the NAS. [1]
5. If the site uses a database or a third-party application such as WordPress or Joomla, install and configure the required packages and their administrator portals. [1]
