How integrity check works

- Backup data check: checks the consistency of backup and source data, and can detect alterations or drives with bad sectors.
- Index structure check: verifies the accuracy of the index database to make sure the task can be backed up and restored.

Key points:
- Each stage has its own progress bar, and both must reach 100% to complete.
- Starting with Hyper Backup 2.1, you can schedule integrity checks in Task Settings > Schedule > Backup Integrity Check.
- During an integrity check, all backup-related processes are suspended until the check finishes.
- If Check data is enabled, the system logs the data size and backup versions being checked.
- If the integrity check schedule conflicts with the backup schedule, they run sequentially, not simultaneously.
