Which should you buy?

Choose the RS820RP+ if you need redundancy-focused hardware: it has a Ryzen V1500B CPU, supports up to 32 GB RAM, and the same 4 bays with expansion support via the RX418; it also has optional 10GbE, but no M.2 slots. Choose the RS820+ only if you want the lower-cost model: it uses the same CPU class and bay/expansion layout, but RAM max is typically lower and there’s still no M.2, so the real decider is whether you need the RP model’s redundant power supply.
