Choose the RS814RP+ if you need more headroom: it has a much faster CPU, 2 GB RAM vs the RS812’s 1 GB, and a redundant PSU. Both are 4-bay units with no built-in 10GbE, no M.2, and no expansion chassis support, so the decision is mainly performance and reliability.
