Choose the RS2825RP+ if you want the newer, faster platform: it uses a stronger Ryzen CPU and supports much more RAM (up to 32 GB vs 64 GB). It also adds onboard 10GbE and M.2 NVMe support, while both models are 16-bay units with the same expansion potential. Pick the RS2821RP+ only if it’s cheaper and your workload is light.
