Choose the RS2416RP+ if you want the newer/faster platform and dual power supplies: it has a 4-core 2.4 GHz CPU and 2 GB RAM, versus the RS2414+’s 2.13 GHz dual-core CPU and 1 GB RAM. Both have 12 bays, expand to 24 with the same RX1214/RX1214RP unit, and neither has built-in 10GbE or M.2 support.
