Which should you buy?

Pick the RS1626xs+ if you want a much newer Xeon-class CPU, 8 GB RAM standard with a far higher ceiling, 6 bays plus expansion, built-in 10GbE, and M.2 cache support. The RS2211RP+ is an older, slower 2 GB unit with 6 bays but no meaningful modern expansion options, no 10GbE, and no M.2. For a home/SMB buyer, the RS1626xs+ is the clear choice unless price alone is the deciding factor.
