Choose the RS1626xs+ for modern performance: its Intel Atom C5125 CPU, up to 32GB ECC RAM, four bays with expansion support, built-in 10GbE, and dual M.2 NVMe slots outclass the RS2211+. The RS2211+ is an older 2U platform with a much weaker CPU, lower RAM ceiling, 10GbE only via expansion, no native M.2, and more drive bays (10) if raw capacity is your priority.
