Choose the DS214+ if you want the clearly stronger box: it has the faster CPU and higher RAM ceiling, which matters more for multitasking, apps, and longer usable life. Both are 2-bay units with no expansion, and neither has 10GbE or M.2, so if you need those features you should skip both and buy a newer model.
