Pick the DS124 if you want the newer, faster single-bay unit: it has a 4-core ARM CPU, 1 GB RAM fixed, 1 bay, and no expansion, 10GbE, or M.2. Pick the DS207 only if you specifically need two bays for RAID/more capacity; it’s older, slower, limited to 128 MB RAM, and also has no 10GbE or M.2.
