Choose the DS115 if you want the newer/faster unit: it uses a dual-core Marvell Armada 375 at 1.0 GHz versus the DS114’s single-core Armada 370 at 1.2 GHz, and both top out at 1 GB RAM. Both are 1-bay NASes with no expansion, no 10GbE, and no M.2 slots, so the real deciding factor is the DS115’s newer CPU platform.
