Choose the DS112+ if you want the faster CPU and more headroom: it has a stronger processor and a higher RAM ceiling. The real differences here are that both are 1-bay units with no expansion, and neither supports 10GbE or M.2. Pick the DS112J only if you want the cheapest basic file store and don’t care about performance or upgrades.
