Choose the DS112+ if you want a much faster x86 CPU, a higher RAM ceiling, and better upgrade headroom; the DS112 is the basic low-power ARM model and is less capable under heavier loads. Neither has expansion beyond its single bay, and neither supports 10GbE or M.2.
