Choose the DS111 if you want the more capable box: it has the faster CPU, more RAM headroom, and is the better fit for heavier home/SMB use. Both are single-bay units with no expansion, and neither supports 10GbE or M.2, so the DS111’s performance and memory are the only decisive advantages here.
